My reasoning for memorizing the presidents and their terms and political parties.

This will be finished in about 5 days: 

• George Washington is the first president and the presidency starts at (1) 789 and he runs for 8 years as an independent party
• And then he says NOOO NO 2 TERMS EVER AGAIN in his speech and so John Adams says “ok” and runs for 4 as a federalist. He is the only federalist
• Thomas Jefferson is not the second president just because he is on the two dollar bill. he is the third and he said “loljk i’m not going to listen to you GW” and runs for 8 years as a Dem-Rep. There is a sandwich of Dem-Reps up until JQA
• James Madison was involved in the war of 1812 and ran for 8 years as a Dem-Rep
• Then another James [Monroe] comes along and was like kay I’ll do the same thing as the other James and ran for 8 years as a Dem-Rep
• Then John Quincy Adams was like I WILL BE LIKE MY FATHER and ran only for 4 years and he was the last of the Dem-Rep sandwich
• Andrew Jackson’s just boss so out of #6-#10 he’s the only one that ran for 8 years. He was a Democrat
• Then he was like “NOOOoOOOO TOO MANY PROBLEMS. SHOVE OFF TO MARTIN VAN BUREN”. And Martin Van Buren had to deal with all of Jackon’s problems because he is a follower and so he is a Democrat. But he doesn’t do as well as Jackson so he only runs for 4 years
• Then William “Whiggins” Henry Harrison runs for only 30 days so and so he shoves off to John Tyler who was his best man and he finishes the term as a Whig too. 
• Then Tyler Polked Taylor and Tyler poked a democrat and was like “HA NO TAG BACKS” so Polk poked Taylor who was a Whig because they are on different teams. So Whig Democrat Whig
• Then Taylor needed to Fill the Pierce made by the [Bu]chanan. 
• But the Taylor died after the first year and was like HEY TAG TEAM and made Fillmore fill out the remainder of his term for 3 years as a Whig. They are the last Whigs (Taylor = Fill holes)
• Then Pierce ran for 4 as a Democrat because the Whigs are dead and so the Democrats win.
• The Pierce is made by the [Bu]chanan and so TAG TEAM; Buchanan is also 4 years as a Democrat (Cannons = Pierce)
• Abraham Lincoln is the 16th president. And is the first republican. Just cuz.
• Andrew Johnson sounds like Andrew Jackson so he is a Democrat (7th and 17th president). He is the only Democrat from the 16-20th presidents
• Ulysses S Grant gets 8 years because he has a cool name. 8 for you Ulysses. You go Ulysses. He is the only one out of the 16-20th who gets 8 years. He is a Republican
• Then Rutherford goes second for having a cool name and so he gets only 4 years.
• Then James Garfield comes in because Grant Hayes’d Garfield because their names are too simliar. But he runs for less than a year as a republican and dies because he ate too much lasagna.
• Then Chester Arthur takes over because Garfield sounds like Arthur and the Cheshire Cat is also a cat. He gets 4 years because he is more conservative as a republican.
